The Moraaba typeface is a geometric typeface rooted in the Kufic Banna'i script. Although Kufic Banna'i has played a significant role in Persian logotypes for years, its presence in Persian fonts remains understated.

The Moraaba font is designed for short words and phrases and is better suited for modern and commercial themes, such as wordmarks, slides, social media covers, advertisements, and packaging.

In designing the Moraaba font’s letters, the ratio of positive to negative space is carefully considered, and the curves are precisely aligned with the circumference of a circle. In the heaviest weight, the ratio of positive to negative space is 2:1, while in the lightest weight, it is 5:1.
