Valhalla

Valhalla is a display font with strange and unusual behaviors and connectors. Readability is not its first priority, and it attracts a lot of attention with different shapes and behaviors.
It has a personality similar to that of a Viking: strong, fierce, and rebellious!
The shape of the letters are angular and has multiple sharp edges; it is like they are soldiers who are always armed and ready for battle!
The idea of designing this font started with my interest in the world of Norse Mythology. Valhalla has an ancient and primitive spirit, and it is inspired by Scandinavian inscriptions.
The characteristics of the letters on the inscriptions gave me the idea to design the letters in different and disordered ways while being integrated; They must not be designed similar to another! Like I could not design the letters exactly the same because of some limitations.
differentiating all the letters from each other, random behaviors, and most importantly, transforming these strange and unusual features into a font was my biggest challenge in designing Valhalla.
In designing this font, only straight lines without curves were used. The goal of these angular shapes, sharp edges and strange and unusual forms is to create a sense of antiquity and the mysterious world of Norse mythology.
