The “Yekan Bakh” typeface is carefully designed to meet modern needs, featuring a simple, neutral, and pixel-friendly style for print. It works efficiently in various contexts.

All characters in Yekan Bakh are crafted in a straightforward, minimalistic style. While it falls into the monoline category, its thickness isn't entirely uniform, This intentional variation, influenced by visual perception and the pen angle, enhances readability.

Reza Bakhtiarifard went beyond conventional limits by incorporating a variety of geometric shapes. The primary objective was to guarantee both readability and visual allure, with intriguing consideration given to optical illusions.

"Yekan Bakh" started with the redesign and development of Yekan typeface; Yekan was designed by Masoud Sepehr, and Yekan Bakh was designed by Reza Bakhtiarifard in 2014. Over the years, this font has become more mature and complete. The major update of Yekan Bakh was done in 2024 with the cooperation of Mahan Jafarzadeh. In this update, 6 width levels were designed for the font; From very compact (ExtraCondensed) to very wide (ExtraExpanded), also English characters were specially designed to match Persian characters. Yekan Bakh now has 56 fonts and a variable version.
