Gramophone
This typeface was designed under the esteemed professor Damon Khanjanzadeh's supervision. It was intended to create a retro typeface adhering to modern standards. To further this objective, the letters of the Gramophone typeface are arranged in a fragmented manner, reminiscent of letterpress printing
In addition to the "clean" style. Moreover, two styles, namely "grungy" and "stoned," have been added to the font package. The distinction between the "grungy" and "stoned" styles lies not only in the texture of the forms but also in whether the constituent lines of the characters are "distorted" or "undistorted." The "grungy style" has a heavy texture in the middle, while the stoned style also has texture around the letters.
Letterforms are constructed as smoothly and evenly as possible, while intricate complexities are avoided as much as possible.
The Gramophone Typeface is designed with high density, meaning it has minimal spacing, primarily intended for use in Titles and short texts.
To enhance typographic versatility, several ornamental Thuluth script symbols have been incorporated into the font. By appending two to eight standalone diacritic marks after the asterisk (*) symbol, additional options for decoration are made available.
The English portion of the font employs the "Adobe Arabic" typeface, and the "grungy" and "stoned" styles have also been applied to those letters.
