The Dibaj typeface is a storyteller. It narrates stories, events, and life experiences with an intimate tone. This typeface was designed from the beginning for use in long narrative texts. Having a narrative tone, paired with readability, was very important.

Among the factors considered to maintain readability in the text size (pt12~7), relatively large counters, regular and confined letterforms, adherence to spacing principles in proportion to the rhythm and letterform shape to create a balanced text grey and exaggeration in the vertical axis of the letters were emphasized.

In line with these objectives, the design of the Dibaj font was inspired by the Mohaqeq script. The effort was to make Dibaj modern and contemporary while remaining true to its roots.

The curved form of the letters (higher aspect ratio) makes it easier for the eyes to move along the lines, turning it into a fluid and smooth font.

Dibaj typeface comes in 9 weights. Its base weights are suitable for use in long texts in books, magazines, etc., while the heavier weights are suitable for graphic works and advertising. In the heavier weights, the character's roundness has been reduced, and ascenders and descenders have been shortened for better cohesion in writing titles and to attract the viewer's attention. Dibaj is a complete font to meet all writing needs in a project.

The base weights of this typeface were designed under the supervision and guidance of the esteemed professors Mr. Sadaqat Jabari and Mr. Damon Khanjanzadeh. Many thanks to both dear professors.
